1st week twins pregnancy
The most delightful thing that woman can experience is to be pregnant with twins. It is a really miraculous course of life and being able to get through nine months of carrying another living. Breathing beings inside of you, moreover twins will transform you forever.
When you think of twin pregnancy, you think about nine months. But you in fact have to start from the 1st day of your last menstrual cycle. Mostly, women have no clue at what time they conceive or ovulate (unless she has been trough IVF treatment). But they do know when the 1st day of their previous menstrual cycle happened. Ovulation won’t occur for two more weeks, so you might in fact conceive in the course of the 3rd week.
If you are preparing on becoming pregnant with twins (read also the article called “How to have twins” to see more information), today is the perfect time to start getting your body prepared for the twins! You should start taking prenatal vitamins, which contain iron and folic acid (2 very essential nutrients for your fetus development early in your twin pregnancy).
Furthermore, start following ovulation by measuring your basal body temperature and watch for the signs. Check out this great FREE fertility Application to make it even easier for you to get a quick twin pregnancy.
Make sure to check back next week to see what take place in the 2nd week. Up till then, we wish you joyful twins making.

2nd week twin pregnancy
This is around the ovulation week. You are now at the midpoint of your menstrual cycle (if of course you have a steady cycle of 28 days), about to ovulate and are probably to get pregnant. Your uterus has shed its lining and is arranging itself to welcome your fertilized egg (for fraternal twins it will be two fertilized eggs). Your egg/eggs are maturing in your ovaries and are getting ready to be released.
A woman is actually fertile only for about four days a month and this is determined by when she is ovulating. You should keep track of your menstrual cycle, your basal temperature and the consistency of your cervical mucus. Both will give you the best marks of when you are supposed to ovulate. Check also this free fertility application to make it easier.
